Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Step in bindings, my first proper test

Just back from a glorious week in Val Thorens, where I properly tested my Burton SI bindings and new board.

I bought a Morrow RV board in the USA at an end of season sale last Easter for $150 and new Burton SI boots n Bindings off e-bay last year for about £80.

I had heard horror stories about iced up bindings and them falling off etc, but I had no bother.
It was great to slide off a chair lift and usually just step into the bindings - no sitting in the snow, no struggling with gloves coz something needs adjsuting - Just like the shampoo, Step N Go.

There was no noticebale difference in response compared to strap bindings - not that my ability is much to write home about.

OK you young supple youngsters can do your straps up while sliding away from a chair lift, smoking a fag and generally looking cool, but being over 40, over weight and under fit, I can't.

Following a thread on here, I adjusted my stance so it's more like my walking style i.e. "10 to 2" \ / instead of \ │ and my feet/legs were much more comfortable..... Thanks Masque
