Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

For the pros really, but anyone with tiny feet welcome to chip in - Looking for 22.0s (not for me) but we can't find much - rang lockwoods this afternoon (very helpful) and was advised that only salomon make a 'true' 22.0 shell avalible in the UK, the rest of the brands being shimmed down 23.0s.

Anyone able to confirm or deny this? Is the situation in mainlnd eurp the same, or is it simply that importers to the UK don't bother with unusually small sizes?

If there is a bit of choice, any shortlist brand/models for an intermediate suggested that might be easily findable in la Plagne? Softer flex preffered, skier getting up to speed on reds, confident on blues, tentative in bumps.

salomon shell is true 22, atomic make it in some boots, as do tecnica and lange....... Head and Nordica do not [proably others who don't as well] head use a plastic bumper in the front of the base board nordica put padding in the front end of the liner

Cunners, i don't sell boots from my office, we work with a local shop and in answer to your question NO they have run out of anything in a true 22
