Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Meribel

Hi all,

there are a group of 4 of us heading to Meribel next weekend, we are all 30ish. I went there 5 years ago, but stayed with friends and didn't really go out in the evening much. Where would everyone recomend going for apres ski? where and when has live music? I remember going to the Rond point (sorry if it's mis-spelt!) one afternoon, and they had a live band on, remember skiing back after but not sure what time the band started?! we are staying in a chalet off the doron blue, so no transport problems. We are one couple, and two guys - any suggestions gratefully received!

Thanks

Live Music every apres from about 5pm at the Ronnie, also at Le Pub. Usually Tue and Thur at LdV Meribel Village too (on the free Meribus shuttle route and well worth a visit).

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

There's a place called the Cactus Bar (I think that's what it's called anyway), at the end of the village near the snowy plateau where all the lifts go up from. That's quite good. Also Dicks t-bar in the middle of the village. In face, all the bars were pretty good. Little Angel

This may be a dumb question so do excuse me - Is Val Thorens linked to Meribel in any way at night? Some friends and I are thinking of going to the Altitude festival but the cheapest SC apartments I've found so far are in VT.

Are there any decent flats for rent in Meribel itself?

Tingray74, no, except by a very pricey and long cab ride.

Boo - thanks for that Richmond. Might have to keep looking for places in Meribel itself then.
