Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

roger1321, try this http://www.campiglio.to/context.jsp?ID_LINK=150&area=46

If you look on google maps you may be tempted to try one of those nice direct roads which isn't a good idea.

Always take snowchains and follow the recommended route from the tourist office.

roger1321, on the way there friday with 5 and 7 year olds, when do you travel. Did Bornio from Bergamo 2 years ago and really was could have done with chains this time I think I'll take mine if weight is ok or get them with the hire car. Be warned sometimes ski chains with car hire can be a bit mickey mouse, they should be in a 30cm x 6cm circular plastic container otherwise watch out. I once lost a set of the lightweight chains in a blizzard!!!

We're in at 5.30pm so hopefully we're out a couple of hours ahead of you, staying up the valley at Campo Carlo magno so have an extra couple of hundred meters higher up to navigate. Forecast is blu sky and no fresh snow so I'm now 50/50 on the snow chains. Got so much stuff with the kids and could do without the weight
