Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Came back from Les Menuires last week - we were there for new year. To be honest, it depends where your mate is staying - this is a suprisingly big resort. It ranges from 1800m to 2000m (Reberty). We stayed in Les Gentianes appartrments some way from the main centre. There was one nightclub/bar by us. Everywhere else was resturant bars which you couldn't go in for if you onlty wanted a drink. This best thing would be to head up to the croisstete(sp). There are quite a few bars up there - Irish/British and French. Overall though I'd say nightlife is limited due to the family nature of the resort. I'm sure other posters may be more helpful. Tell your mate to enjoy it - the snow was fantastic whilst I was there and I think they've just had some fresh stuff as well.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

les menuires is a bit limited as rthe other guy said.. its more a family resort. of coruse there are the bars and stuff at the bottomof the main slope in les menuires..its alright ive been in there a few times after skiing..not exactly wild though lol. nearby st martin is even quieter. meribel ive heard is awesome for night life, all sorts of bars and clubs. and of course there is courchevel over the other valleys but that is a bit of a stretch fgrom where u are if u are not skiing!!!
