Think there was another thread on the best boots for tramping the snowy streets in, but can't find it.
Anyone remember either where it is, or what the conclusions were ?
If not, any recommendations ?

Consensus was -
Definitely no shaggy furry ones.
Walking Boots fine if you have them.
Snow Boots nice for some places or if you plan on doing a lot of strolling around the resorts.
Moon Boots - only if you're not afraid of the fashion police.

Thanks for replies - kuwaitian - thx, but the thread I was thinking of was a touch longer than that one !
Have looked at Cats & Timberlands, but the pairs I've seen have no sidepiece from tongue to body and therefore are not waterproof.

Im sure I started a thread titled best apres boots for snow heavy resort but I cant find it either. I ended up buying a pair of Sorrel Caribou boots from S & R for £59.00 with preseason discount. Im hoping for a big dump of snow in Yorkshire to try them out. I know Im sad
