Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Help!
I've finally got my leaving date confirmed.
It's next Friday - 31st December. And then I get a few more days as paid holidays.
I start my new job on Monday 10th January.

That leaves me a week.

What should I do Puzzled

If only there was some sport that I enjoyed snowHead

So, my question is:
I am 1 person, I have 1 week.
Has anyone got a spare room/cheap idea for me to get a week on the slopes?

PG is offering his flat (sleep Cool on the cheap for that period. You can sleep different bed for each night of the week. I have 3 spare seats on my 4x4 for raiding any part of the Tarentaise. I think PG can arrange the pick up and return to Geneva. I shall be in PG's studio flat for 2 weeks staring 26 Dec. I am crossing the North Sea in a few hours time, staying in Champery for 3 days before heading for PG's place. If you do come, don't forget the fox hat as I haven't seen you wearing it yet!

Where are you Foxy ? You might get cheap flights on weekdays on flybe from Southampton - Chambery and you can train to BSM.

I have packed another pair of ski clamps just in case and should be able to cope with 5 to 6 skiers. Just the wife and I on this this trip. For comfort we are not taking the 3rd row of seat along. We are staying at Monthey's Minitel to sample the Swiss side of the Porte Du Soleil for the first 3 days and may even try Gstaad or Verbier.
