Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Poster: A snowHead
Hiya snowHead 's .....

Just got back from a week in Les Gets, PDS and after boarding on ice for a week we have decided to go further a field next year.

Thinking of Whistler and just wondered if anyone can offer any help or suggestions on where to stay and if it's better to book a package holiday-never been before.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, is it snow sure in April too - sorry for the ignorance Embarassed

Cheers, snowHead

I did a DIY, was excellent and I wish I was a better boarder at the time to have made more of it, not that I did badly, I will go next year. You must book a stretch limo from Vancouver to Whistler but call girls and cocaine are optional extras. It snowed every day I was there. Boarding was like legal and safe off piste

Its never 'sure' to snow anytime of year, however we do get snow in April - sometimes. For the last 6 seasons we have averaged around 110cm in April, but we had 1 year with only 20cm, and 2 with 200cm.
As for where to stay, that is always hard to answer, I suggest you look at http://www.alluradirect.com to get some ideas on prices and whats available. The best location besides from being in the village itself is the suburb called the 'Benchlands'. Very expensive, short walk to anywhere to want to go, and also has a free bus to get you home when drunk ( or if you are too lazy to walk ). Another good location is 'Brio' but I don't think you will find much 'rental' property there.
