Hey all - been lurking a while, i guess it's time to finally post i'm in a similar boat as a couple other posters I've seen on here - an american living in lyon, france, with non-skiing friends. as a former instructor, i'm dying to hit the alps! i'm looking for groups for singles, but it's been tricky finding people who are skiing for just a weekend, and not an entire week. (i have this thing called a job. it's weird. i don't recommend it.) if anyone has ideas, or is willing to let me jump in with their group for a weekend (can i bribe you with cooking? or possibly being an outstanding drinking buddy?), i would be delighted. thanks!

MiaCeline, If Roger C, couldn't accommodate you that weekend but you still wanted to come, I could probably put you up. In fact, as I'm in VT for the season I'm around most weekends apart from a couple trips back to UK for a stag weekend and wedding.

sweet guys! i'm excited all over again - i was getting frustrated not finding what i was looking for. roger c, definitely let me know. some of my coworkers are going skiing that weekend, but then i'd be, you know, skiing with my coworkers.
as for you, fox hat, tricky tricky trying to rope me into an admission... but if you heard me sing, you would become quite certain that i am *not* canadian.
