Poster: A snowHead

Hi..
My current boots I got from Foot-Works, Chamonix in Nov 98/99 season. Lange L10. Nice scottish lass fitted them !
I did all that season on the original liners and half the next season and they were shagged, so i got some ZIP Fits (they are leather inside if that helps work out the model) and a Booster velcro as the original one was also mullered. The boots were now perfect again. Since then they have been amazing till last season and now I need some new cork injecting as the heal is a bit loose (relatively!) and my toes are getting grief as my foot moves. I also broke my ankle and my right leg has changed shape quite a bit so they were agony recently .
Anyone have any ideas who will be able to sort this out as they liners are quite old and i'm not sure if anyone will stock the stuff you inject anymore? I live on Kent so can do here or I could have them done in Tignes as i'm off there soon.
Cheers
Alex

Alex A, it depends on the liner model as to what you inject, judging by the age i would guess that it is a silicon injection rather than the OM fit compound which is now used...is there a single clear sleeve for injection at the back of the rear spoiler? or two tabs on either side of the tongue just above the instep?
whatever model it is it should be possible to inject some OM fit compound into the tongue which will help to hold the foot back
hope that helps

Cheers CEM, had a look at your site. A trip looks like a worth while exercise
My current ZIP-Fits dont have the rear spoiler clear sleeve for injecting i'm sure. My wife's do and they were bought 1 year before. I'm I remember the guy saying that my model had cork injected into it and to come back after a few week if I needed it? In the end they were such a snug fit that I never needed to. I only need to use the 1st clip on the lower foot most of the time and max the 3rd on the top.
Something has gone wrong however as my toes are getting killed, especially when its really cold. The whole heel seems to have lost all the fluid that was quishy before. It feels empty now?
Maybe I should get another pair of Zip-Fits....have to see what can be done to them ! Really dont want to replace the shells as i love them.
