For all those coming over for a pre-Christmas ski - it has been skowing meaningfully for the past 36 hours in Alpe d'HUez and If I was clever and knew how to post a photo I would!!

sarah@alpedhuez, Thanks for the report. I am driving down to Tignes on Thursday. I guess there is snow on the Jura around here, but Geneva being Geneva, the visibility limits us to just being able to see enough to cross the road between November and February

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Looks like it could be worse sparish, we didn't get much yesterday but it's been falling quite heavily overnight right down to Bourg St Maurice, should have at least a couple more hours before it stops. No more forecast for a few days though, with light snow above 2100m towards the end of the week.
It wasn't too bad at Tignes on Sunday up on the glacier, and the Double M was in reasonable nick considering...

PG, Skiing blind, driving blind same thing
Can I ask a stupid question I have skied at Tignes 6 times....but where is the Double M? Is that some kind of nickname for the two T-bars up on the Glacier?
I looked on the piste map but cant find it

sarah@alpedhuez, if you can put your photos on your own web site, you can link to them and if you want to post them on here use the [img] ... [/img] tags. Pushing them left or right like PG's needs a bit of HTML which is a little more complicated....

It's the red down from the glacier down into Val Claret. Runs close to the Les Lanches chair for the most part.
