Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Lesson Advice - Chamrousse

Just after a bit of advice please - we are going to Chamrousse 20-27th March.
My hubby and I will be boarding (have been once before but before I had my daughter who is now 6). I am having private lessons at Sheffield as I can remember very little so basically started again, I will continue these lessons till I go. Likewise my 6yr old is having private lesson but she is skiing as was too young to board, She is progressing a lot faster than I am and is already at recreational standard and allowed to use the slope on her own. I have looked at the ESF website for the resort but it is not very informative and I don't know whether to carry on with lessons whilst away or just practice on the greens maybe blues. We would all like to stick together really and I am nervous about leaving my daughter with someone with poor English (I had private lessons (ESF) in La Plagne last time and the instructor was very friendly but we struggled to communicate). Don't know if I worry too much, anyone I know who skis has more than one child and leaves them together. We have tried group lessons at the dry slope and I don't really enjoy them. Any suggestions welcome.
