Poster: A snowHead

I am looking at a few different skis and like the sound of Head Supershape Magnums but Head Chip supershape may be an option.
anybody know how they ski compared to each other? I have heard the chip is a bit stiffer and more of a GS ski but with a tight side cut, sounds ideal for me but......

Don't go for it, by all accounts it's a one trick pony. The last thing you want happening in the bumps is the ski stiffening up on you.....

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The chip works well at speed but I don't think I'd want to use it in a mogul field, not sure how well it would function in deep powder

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

D G Orf, in powder the ski won't (shouldn't ) vibrate and it's the vibrations that generate the current that stiffens the metallic plate.
skimottaret, Supershape Magnums are very smooth and satisfying on piste. Not skied them in bumps or off-piste. Good edge hold, too

Sharkymark, All the Head skis I've used seem very good on edge hold, one of the reasons I like them

D G Orf, I've taken a liking to them too. Very different to my Scotts but not in a bad way
