I've organised a trip to Les Arc (1800) travelling out by road from Twickenham on Friday 4th Jan and returning on Sunday 13th Jan and have up to three places available. In resort accomodation is in a 6/7 bed apartment (double room available) overnight accomodation has been has been booked on the outward leg (Albertville - Friday night) and return leg (Dijon - Saturday night). This will allow a full 8 days worth of skiing.
Transport is a fully equiped Renault Grand Espace (TV screens, gaming machine interface, CD autochanger, iPod interface, Sat Nav, etc...). Transport is from/to Twickenham although a pick up can be arranged from a convenient French airport (Lyon, Geneva, Chambery, Grenoble) late Friday afternoon/early Friday evening.
Price for transportation/ accomodation/breakfasts in Les Arcs/four three course meals including beer is £270 per person (transportation includes all fuel/Channel Tunnel/all tolls from Twickenham), (accomodation icludes 7 nights in Les Arc and two nights on outward and return legs), (food includes 7 breakfast in Les Arcs - typically waffles with maple syrup, porridge, cereals, bacon, tea, coffee, but does not include perishables bought in resort such as bread, milk, jams, cheese, etc..., four three course meals, prepared in the UK by myself including: starter, main course and pudding and an appropriate beer).
Lift passes can be booked, price for an 8 day Paradiski (Les Arcs and La Plagne combined) for 2008 is £210, Carre Neige (on slope insurance) is an additional £15 total for 8 days.
Skis/Snowboards can be booked and picked up from Bourg St Maurice (cheaper than in resort) for approx: £60 for Red skis/boots, £70 for Black skis/boots, £70 adult snowboard/boots, all for 8 days hire.
Ski/Snowboards lessons can also be booked at approx £95 for six half days (Sun - Fri inc: 09:30 - 12:00), private lessons are also available in the afternoons. All lessons are through Arc adventures.
This is the fourth time I have organised a trip like this, this trip was full but unfortunately three people have dropped out at the last minute. The prices quoted are at cost and there is no mark up.
If anyone is interested then please let me know as soon as possible and I will arrange to make contact to discuss further.
Good Skiing
Dave.

DaveJ, welcome to snowHeads Hope you get some people to fill your spare places. So far it's been a great start to the season for snow, so early January should be good. Where is your accommodation in Arc 1800?
