Ok, well there will be a few of us going away this year so we are after somewhere lively with a good bit of Apres ski!
I have heard a few recommendations but would value your resort reviews!
Thanks!

Don't go to Les Saisies. There are sometimes people to be seen on the street as late as, oh, let's see, about 9.45pm....

Mayrhofen - great skiing in the Ziller Valley with lots of varied resorts on the lift pass and excellent apres ski. Hintertux glacier well worth a trip and just up the road.
Solden - great skiing, spectacular glacier scenery, Obergurgl just up the road and excellent apres ski. Kicks off at 3.30 and is still bouncing hours later. Very Austrian with Europop and Rammstein (Excellent German band by the way. Check em out if you are an old punk like me...!) Some of our group complained that it was TOO Austrian would you believe?! I despaired....and suggested they stayed in Blighty next time.
St. Anton - brilliant skiing and excellent apres.
Val D'Isere - world class, on and off the slopes. But take out a second mortgage for your beer...
Soll - great (mainly intermediate) skiing but massive ski area. And brilliant apres.
