Nice zoom on the new derby lift.
There is snow .. Sommet de Bellecôte , Aiguille des Glaciers and mont blanc 
The rest , try again in two days
I guess being aware of the coming dump over this week they want to show the snow arriving.
The temp on the films is showing 1-2C Thats better than when i was there in march last year!!!

What dump is that then??? as far as I can see Les Arcs may get some flakes, maybe a few cm, Austria is going (getting) to get the goods yet again!

looks nice and grassy, is that true for most of the area? Ie not many core shot shaped rocks around???

I'll start worrying towards middle of December if no snow, but even last year, in what was a poor year, there was plenty to ski on at Xmas

What you can see there is up to about 2200m I'd guess, above that it starts to get a little bit rockier I think. But generally the lower slopes (below 2000m) seem to be free of major rocks from what I've seen during the autumn. The resort seems to take piste clearance very seriously to make the most of whatever snow falls.

Wow, that's earth moving on a grand scale! Thanks for the photos. Never seen the 2000 bowl without snow. Much greener than I thought it would be.

Apart from the fact the main site appears to have gone down (doh!) webcam (2) in arc 1950 ( www.arc1950.com ) is showing a beautiful picture of a snowy village tonight.
