OK, so you're off on the biggest Snowheads bash. Presumably frequented by a fair number of the Snowheads chosen star instructors. You decide to have to have some lessons, how do you chose your instructor:
1. Is it the case that they choose you?
2. They pick their pupils randomly out of a hat?
3. The would be pupils line up and the instructors pick in turn like choosing teams at school where you hope you're not going to be the last one chosen!?
4. You put all the instructors names in a hat and randomly pick happy in the knowledge that they are all superb.
5. Any other method - tell me - how do YOU chose between the best?

Seriously, its quite a consideration. Do some of the instructors specialise in different areas? If so who deals with what.

There's a race on the first morning. Fastest snowHeads get the best instructors. Slowest snowHeads make do with the pistebasher driver who had to stop work because his eyesight is failing.

I think there's a bit of mutual choosing. In the same way that admin does the magic of getting everyone sorted out accomodation wise, the instructor gurus seem to work out who needs what and come up with an equally fine plan...

Megamum, I think it's safe to say that the sHs preferred instructors are all of a similar mind (except perhaps Anna . . . who will be much missed at the next bashes by certain sHs  you know who you are) and you don't need to make a choice. Co-ordinate with Charlotte for your lesson level and enjoy whoever you get (bit like throwing your keys onto the coffee table).

Megamum, We spent 3 family holidays in Val Thorens with a mixed group from absolute child beginners to adult beginners and some intermediate plateau skiers. Each year we went back to Prosneige (Their office is nearish to Oxylass) www.prosneige.fr/en/ because they were the best instructors any of us (a group of 12) had come across. We can't rate them highly enough
