Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hello All

My bf picked up a Head Matrix dirt cheap today and now is looking for bindings. He's only done 1 week on snow- and this is his "starter" board, so nothing too flash needed. He doesn't want flows either -

any suggestions?

Nadenoodlee, the question is .. How much does he want to pay?
Ride do excellent bindings and they have come down in price this year. I have only used Burton, Ride or Salomon bindings so not sure how the others rate.

The older salomon, sp1/2/3/4 in general suck, I could never get them tight enough. They seem to have sorted that out now though.
Burton cartel, custom or missions are ok, I still haven't broken my customs after a year, and for me not to break something is unheard of.
K2 cinch maybe? A combo of flow and straps.
Don't get Nidecker unless the idea of hiking out of places appeals to him.

Head. Cheap as chips and very good quality;. The P series seems to have it all for very, very cheap:

They look nifty too Smile

Curious as to why no flows?
Has he had a bad experience with them?

tuxpoo, He just doesn't like them. I think its down to his experience of them when he was learning. Im not a fan of them, so he's probably just copying me!

K2 Cinch have been mentionned a few times, but I would be too tempted to use them myself!

Poor setup seems to be the biggest reason why folk fall out with Flows.
Saying that, there seems to be some right good 'standard' bindings out there
