Poster: A snowHead

Any recommendations for a nice clean cheap hotel in Les Deux Alpes ...... Charlotte??????? Stayed in Le Cret last Xmas and would like something similar this year, must have shower and toilet in room and half board would be nice, I'm contemplating driving this year to try and keep the cost down - all suggestions welcome failing that I'll be looking for a package deal, but it's only 370 miles to drive from London - that's one tank of fuel!

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Les Lutins is always a good bet, it's B&B only but you only have to fall out of the front door into any number of restos

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

williams691, I'd second Les Lutins, stayed there on 2 visits last year, super place for a very reasonable price.

williams691, First Choice chalet, on the main road in the middle of resort, very handy for lifts, bars, shops. Rustic-looking, rooms are small and fairly basic, but warm and adequate unless you're one of these picky types who wants posh for tuppence halfpenny. Bathrooms got a complete refurb a couple of years ago. If Sam is cheffing again, food will be nice - if not it will probably still be nice, to be fair.

williams691, We went on a self-drive to L2A last April with www.snowtrex.co.uk. They have a range of accommodation that fits most budgets and includes 6 day liftpass. We stayed at La Meiji which was clean, well furnished and had easy access to a lift. We took a short drive some mornings into town for the Jandri Express etc..
Hope this helps! PM me if you need any other info.
