I'd buy a half price Arnie Wilson any day. You could keep him in the cupboard under the stairs when not in use.
Perhaps I could take him on the January holiday I just put in the "Trips" forum! (any good skiers interested?)

I have duly received both Arnie Wilson Ski Atlas and also Top ski resorts.
Both are excellent with full colour glossy photography throughout, the editorial pieces appear very good......have only read a few chapters so far.
I can thoroughly reccomend both books as gifts for any skier

I got the Arnie Wilson one too. Only read a couple of chapters so far - it seems pretty decent, but what use are the maps in each resort chapter? They seem utterly useless to me and have the feeling of padding it out to make the book appear larger.
On the subject of books (admittedly a bit late for this Christmas!!), I got this last year and it's a cracking read...

Agreed that is an amazing pic.
If Arnie looks in maybe he could put a copy of it up for everyones delight, or maybe they need to buy the book

I too got the Top Ski resorts book! Nice & glossy, good for browsing through and seeing how many I've been to!
