I don't bother. I feel that the skis flex differently enough in slush that it isn't good training.
Maybe try Landgraaf or Amneville.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

i am still getting used to the speed..... i am assuming that autumn is cold enough to cure the difference of flex?

Saas fee with the kids in August twice. Great conditions 2016, mediocre enough in 2017, plenty of cold temps but to much wind closed the lifts 2 out of 5 days. Pistes were plenty firm, but they started early and finished early.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I did a week of autumn GS training with JJC in Saas Fee a couple of years ago which was great but it could also have been awful if the whole mountain had shut due to a storm or winds. As it turned out I was supremely lucky and we had cold sunny weather with some great piste conditions, but I don't think that is necessarily typical. I think if you're serious about race training (and especially the Eurotest) you will need to devote a lot of time to it and then any days lost to bad weather are not such a big deal.

@kieranm, One coach has suggested to me that Saas Fee don't do quite as good a job of opening things up after a storm as the other glaciers.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

@ajc2260626, You are not really narrowing down what you want to do, are you thinking about doing SL or GS ?

There’s plenty of places, try Snoworks, Podium, JJC, Zenit, Ben Reid, Target, Flaine Superski
Don’t worry about losing days to weather that’s more of an autumn issue not summer. You’ll be starting early and finishing early. Lots of other activities for the afternoon
