Trying to decide this myself David.
I'm not too bad doing the old linked turns and all that, and after going to MK on Saturday, I'm keen to do a bit more ramp/rail work. I think there's a three-hour freestyle night with jumps and all that on Fridays.

Looking at the booklet I picked up there the other day they have a evening sessions with ramp and rails on Monday/Thursday/Friday, 8-11pm. 'Discounted' at £29. Friday is mentioned as a beginners night. Trouble is Friday is beer night !

Can anyone tell me what Tamworth is like nowadays?
I went about 5 years a go and it was VERY icy. Since then I've been to Castleford and MK and they were ace, but Tamworth is much closer to me than either of those so if its OK nowadays I'd much rather go there than spend a couple of hours in the car each way..

Friday is beginners freestyle night and most of the people I've spoken to love it - nice and relaxed, not cliquey, good place to learn some stuff and get cheers when you pull off a trick for the first time.
