Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone out there that can directly compare these 2 Garmont models. I realize that the Shaman is geared more towards AT and Freeride with the dual shoes, but do the lasts differ in width and snugness? Is there an appreciable difference in flex and stiffness? Does the 130 last have the same 'anatomical' shape as the Shaman (which is essentially pre-pucnhed)
I tried the Shamans and was quite impressed. I really liked the last shape but ideally would prefer something just a tad bit stiffer and snug. SO was thinking the G1 130 would be perfect. On that note. does anyone know of any stores that currently carry the G1 130 - preferably ones that have websites or ship abroad. I live in the US and sadly the G1 models won't be distributed to the States this season.
Thanks,

, Shaman has a different liner; Cizeta Freeride/Pro( no difference other than a flashy red coller insert) and most importantly has a flex of 120 insted of the 130 boasted by the G130. Otherwise the boots are the same. Yes different sole plates available. We will carry all their models this winter, so PM e if you need a pair. I skied the 130 last winter, it was the best boot i ever let turn my feet numb(she was a bit short!)
