boredsurfin, your memory seems to be selective and dependent upon what gives you greatest opportunity to grumble.
As you have known, this forum was created in the early days when, due to the nature of our nascence, there was so much discussion about the Ski Club of Great Britain that it was making a mess of The Piste. After some time the frequency of such discussions diminished and we hived the forum off as all it seemed to do was play host to the occasional bun fight.
It is as perfectly reasonable, these days, for people to start discussions about the SCGB in The Piste as it is for them to start one about any tour operator. If we suddenly found we had dozens of them, that might warrant dusting this old forum off and 'wheeling Grandad out for a day in the Sunshine'.
