I saw a programme on climate change last night, there was one summer in the 1800s when there was hard frost in June, at least it's not that bad!

The year without summer; 1816. It was caused by Tambora eruptions which ejected immense amounts of volcanic dust (1,5 million metric tons) into the upper atmosphere, that blocks the sun, and cooled the Earth
