Poster: A snowHead
|
Hi all,
I'm starting to try and organise a weekend for a group of friends, about 6-8 people. We've tentatively decided on Austria and a long weekend of Fri 8th to Mon 11th Feb 2008. Fortunately it's outside of the UK half-term but still at the start of peak period. Can anyone recommend a hotel or B&B that would take a long weekend booking at that time of year? Somewhere in or close to one of the medium sized or larger Austrian ski resorts?
Thanks,
Jack.

Jumpin Jack, http://www.steinerwirt.com/ will get you in one of the nicer hotels in Zell Am See. Nearly in the centre of town, and only 5 mins walk from the main lift. Zell is a fantastic town, and one of the most picturesque ski areas anywhere IMO. They will take weekends, as we stayed there for 3 days this Jan/Feb.

Charlatanefc, Thanks for the recommendation - that's the sort of thing that I'm looking for. A nice hotel or B&B in a fairly big resort. anyone else know of any?
Jack
