Poster: A snowHead

With winter on its way, some inspiration for those who may be disheartened by the thought of another Chambery/Moutiers/Traffic Jam adventure.
There's a big wide world out there

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

It takes a while to download on a dial-up connection, but is worth the wait.

What a great link. I love the 12th photo where he's climbing up - just a little bit steep!
I feel inadequate. I could never do that even if I skied for another 100 years.

Amazing, but looks a little high risk for me I think I'm happy being boring with my weeks skiing on-piste.

But he says 46º so either that bit was short and the average was 46º or it was taken at an angle.
Yes, alan, by comparison do you feel you'r running on empty?

I went through that site last night. Pretty amazing. I remember one bit where he mentioned (or words to the effect) that they had heard that someone had skied that peak so they didnt bother. Pretty amazing.
The other thing about it was that they referred to the peaks by their height as most of them hadnt been named. Talk about being in the middle of nowhere
