Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

There have been several snowHead 's staying or living all season long in various bits of the alps and pyrenees rather than thank them individually I would just like to say thanks here. It must be a fair effort to keep them to up to date for many, after a skiing holiday I can usually manage a quick post on snow conditions without keeping it going.

Even when not travelling to the resorts involved they are still useful to keep up to date with the conditions and occasionally to know where to avoid.

Good thread T Bar, I have loved looking at the snow reports (and photos especially) through the season. I know how much effort it takes, so hats off to you guys that have done it so consistently.

I won't list names, as there are bound to be some that I forget, but well done and thanks to you all snowHead .

ah thanks guys! it hasn't been everyday cos i never made it up every day Embarassed but i did really enjoy doing them!
I cant wait to start again next season! Bring on season 08!!!

Yes thanks to everyone who took time to let us all know about conditions, it wasn't just useful for the resorts I visited but was also nice to know the doom and gloom merchants were wrong and there was plenty of snow to be had.
