When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

kiwi1 I guess it is a function of their short length but he seems to be right in the back seat in the powder.

Thats pretty much what they're for FUN. I prefer the nomad or the pilgrim but the scout is a blast as long as you push them.

i bought my new boards last night, was a hard decision between the icelantic scouts/143 and the hagan off limits/133, opted for the hagans this time, as they come with skins and was a cracking deal. i dont telemark, but know some guys who do use skiboards for it. maybe 2009 i might try it.

I'm not sure of the difference between a 143 fat ski board and a traditional ski - particularly as in the video he uses the poles in a way that might be expected in deep snow. Is he really using different skate style technique?
