Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Cervinia in May

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Good afternoon kids!

Now I've got the whole 'is there snow in Zermatt, where to stay' etc out of the way I had a thought.. Is Cervinia open for summer as well? I had a look at both the Zermatt and Cervinia websites, and it looks like it may be possible to pop on over. Unfortunately the Cervinia websites says nothing about summer opening times.

Can anyone enlighten me or point me in the right direction? I'll be teaching my husband to snowboard so I'd like to start off on the blues, and it looks like cervinia has a lot more of those.

thank you! enjoy the rest of the sun

as far as I know the cervinia side isn't a summer ski place, the cable car comes up and when you get out you cross the border into la suisse. whenever I've been (june/july/august/september) the pistes on the italian side have been closed.
This is from middle of July 2005, as you can see, sod all snow down there.
