Poster: A snowHead
|
Just booked my kids on summer snow camp at Castleford. Any reports on these courses? My boys are 13 (twins) and quite experienced but they want to learn some tricks.
I really hope they're worthwhile as it's cost me £250 for each of them (could have had another holiday for that!).

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

marmalade, Though I'm not too sure of the experience, I hope they have fun and I bet they do!
Our place (The Works Skatepark) is offering the same kind of thing in the summer, for kids who want to BMX and Skateboard!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I've never used it, but I'd be interested to hear your views afterwards.

Thanks anyway I will report back. Keep your fingers crossed for me, not sure how I'll ski next season without an arm and a leg! But it's worth it just to get rid of 2 teenagers for a week.
Actually it only works out at £50 per day for tuition (including video feedback), equipment hire, food and entertainment such as bowling/cinema etc. So not such bad value for money afterall.
In my day we had to entertainourselves with a skipping rope and hula hoop!! They don't now they're born, eh!

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

marmalade, sounds good value. I could do with something like that for my kids but for beginners as they have both never skied

Russel,
They also do a beginners camp, which is called the 'lesson camp' as opposed to the 'recreational camp' for kids with more experience.
