Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Well, not exactly. Dropped into our local Thomas Cook yesterday to top up with Euros and discovered the manageress had just come back from Kitzbuhel after hearing us go on about the place when booking trips there. She had gone on our recommendation and taken on her first ski trip at the age of 50. Needless to say she loved it and can't wait to go again.

Don't know why exactly, but I find that strangely satisfying!

In my - limited - experience of booking ski hols our local travel agents were rubbish - not a clue - fine for a week in Lanzarote, Caribbean cruise or the Disney trips but knew less than I did about ski resorts - which is why I ended up booking over phone with Neilson - but maybe a few more high street agents and their managers could do with ski experience - does seem ironic that you, the customer, recommended a resort to her, the travel expert, hence your satisfaction!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hehe, that's quite an interesting episode. I would have thought that someone of age 50 working as a manager for a tour operator would have experienced a wide range of holiday offerings to be employed there. I guess that's what I would have as my manager if I was running a company...someone with first hand experience. But hey, that's not always available so I guess I understand a little bit hehe =)
