http://www.whichbudget.com/ will give you some places that you can get to from there. Though some airlines may now be on a summer timetable, and not go to all the winter destinations.
Once you have identified where you can fly to, you want to be aiming to go fairly high for the best conditions. Some resorts could include Tignes, Val T, Val d'Isere, Les Deux Alpes, Zermatt/Cervinia, Hintertux, Obertauern, Ischgl, Saas Fee. There are probably others...
It is Easter, so you want to be trying to sort accommodation as soon as possible, that may take some time, and it may be simpler to stay out of resort .
Good luck .

lynned, Looking at Ryanair, you can get to Milan (bergamo) from Glasgow. Looking at the flight times, you may be better off going on the Thursday evening. Resorts near there that you can consider from there (among others) would be... Passo Tonale, St Moritz, Cervinia, La Thuile but you are looking at a 2 - 2.5 hour drive at the Italian end.

Fly to Salzburg and then drive down to Obertaurn, about 60k south. Perfect resort for the weekend, you will be able to ski it all and never lose your bearings. Snow sure too and cracking apres!!!!

lynned, I used to do a few weekends, I always try to get a fairly high resort, near an airport, with a decent ammount of marked runs and a reputation for easily accessed off piste stuff.
I've used J2Daves' site before to help on transfer times and so shorten the list.

lynned, Well - I would normally recommend here or ADH as handy for airports (Grenoble, chambery and Lyon), but as it's easter and you're already in Bonnie Scotland, why not go there? Seems like a fair bit of snow has fallen, most resorts seem to have had decent skiing all season and it doesn't involve air travel!

easiski, possibly she isn't enthused by the prospect of sheet ice and horizontal sleet. You have clearly forgotten what Scottish skiing entails.

although the resorts have been open to varying degrees the conditions have not been great. the nevis range for example are advertising the heavy snowfall but stating ample skiing and runs skiable with care! my experiences of scotland last year were fun but treacherous! having been in banff at christmas scotland is not quite enticing just now!

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Lizzard, Au contraire - 7 years on Caringorm and I would say the good conditions outweighed the bad as far as snow is concerned. Wind is another matter - but then we've had plenty of that here this year... check out the pix on the Scotland thread and on Winterhighland.
lynned, Then you should come here for sure, but it will cost you and you need to book quickly! Loads of snow. You can fly to Grenoble from Glasgow.
