Poster: A snowHead

As normal i tend to send skis in for servace when arriving at chalet.
A bit of wax and edge i say.
great but as happerns you hit a rook and you damage a edge. It gets scored or rough in a small area. But not to worry we have the tec.
Problem starts in the fact that the hand held edging tool has too angles 90 and 88 degrees.
Which do you use, Is it dependant on the ski type and if so where is the infomation to select the angle. or is it dependent on the point where the damage has occored (tip, under binding or tail). etc help required The reason i ask is based on the fact that looking where the skis were last done no checks were done and they were run along a rotating sander (for a better word) in both plans.
And a finally is the angle based of the horizontal so giving efectivally a 92degree cut in to the snow/ice.

Yer angles will probably be the same along the whole length of the ski. Trouble is, you've had them serviced so they could be different from the factory settings.
Me, I'd use the 88 along the whole length.
The angle is from the vertical, so you get a 89* edge (if the base angle is at 1* which it usually is).
Easy eh!
Gerroff moi bases!!!!!

Unfortunately neither. Most of the time their website's don't say either.
I've a list of most of the manufacturer's specifications on my website if you click on the link.
