Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

The British Snowboard Team have done well in the World Cup this season. At the the World Cup races in Japan, which were held in Furano, Zoe Gillings (boarder cross) qualified 8th and made it into the heats, riding to 11th place overall.
Dan Wakeham (half pipe) qualified for the half pipe finals and finished in an excellent 8th place. These results have made a tremendous impact on both Zoe and Dan's World Cup rankings, with Zoe moving from 35th place to 11th place and Dan moving to 16th place. ...Snowboarding now has three British riders ranked in the Top 20 in World Cup, including Lesley McKenna in 12th place.
Noel Baxter also did well in the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships in Are (Sweden), coming 15th in the Men's Slalom. This is the best British men's World Championship slalom result for over 30 years. What’s more, Noel revealed later that one of his skis threatening to part company from the binding plate for most of his second run, after some of the screws ripped loose.
