Poster: A snowHead
|
Being a new chap to the forum I would like to say hello... and this first post is a question rather than a report.
Put simply, is it worth a couple of amateurs (gf and myself) going to cairngorm this weekend? I do not know how weather relates to conditions on these resorts etc. We just fancy a romantic weekend!
Input appreciated thanks

glasgowdan, best bet is to look in www.winterhighland.info . Esp the public reports bit.
The gorm looked really nice today although the weather for thursday may effect things at the weekend wrt snow loss.

After a rough day on Thursday the forecast is pretty good for the weekend at this stage with a ridge of high pressure building over Highland Scotland. Hell thats put a curse on it now !

glasgowdan, Welcome to snowheads. Just keep an eye on the weather and snow conditions and then decide if it is worthwhile.
