Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

we are off to livigno in the motorhome next week.....anyone been recently?? any idea how the snow is....have seen a few reports and looks a bit better than alot of places at the moment although i think most of it has come from snow making!!

hannah34, No idea about conditions but you're right it does look a little thin, The Motolino side will keep the best but it'll probably be racing hard. Curious, where do you park up, I can't remember seeing any vans or places to park around the town?

there is a massive motorhome/camper park at the bottom of the mottolino down by the lake....can't believe you could miss it. it holds about 100 vans and has great facilities. there is another campsite down at the other end but its a long way out and impossible to walk to anywhere. we have been taking the motorhome over for the last few years and have friends who fulltime in theirs. they arrive there in november work the season and leave around may....they get to ski everyday....snow permitting of course......what a life Very Happy
