Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Online lift passes for Val d'Isère?

Has anybody successfully bought their Val d'Isère lift passes online?

In order to receive a loyalty discount now, one has to buy a VIP card online.

I registered a couple of days ago; a tortuous experience to say the least which involves scanning old passes and messing about with photo-editing software to resize the images and your photos etc.

Anyhow, this morning I bought the passes for me and my wife (or at least I think I did!) We're travelling on the 18th so I have to pick them up in resort, but they've given me no indication where to get them. The final screen seemed to indicate that 'Payment failed' yet I received an email which appears to amount to a credit card receipt.

So I've no idea whether I'll have passes waiting for me or not, and if so where to get them.

I bought mine last year online, but I ordered earlier and they were sent(registered) by post. The good old UK mail didn't drop a note through the door when they tried to deliver(signature required), and I grew concerned. A quick email to the Val D lift office and I got a reply in perfect english very quickly( I think it was within an hour) detailing when letter was sent etc. Picked my passes up that day from local sorting depo. Not impressed with royal mail, but very impressed by Val D office response and service. Drop them an email to confirm?

I gave them a ring on the 'Hotline': it seems that the server is down for a few hours.

OK, sorted now. Apparently it was working, it's just a bit crap that's all. I rang them and spoke to a very helpful chap who told me that all was well and my passes would be waiting for me when I get there.

I've just got to find the lift pass office now. I've always used the TO in the past so I've no idea where it is, apart from it being near the Solaise lift.

NickB, if you have the entrance to the Solaise lift to your left and the ramp to the Olympique cable car in front of you, it's just down to your right, underneath the Sun Bar. (I think that's right... please feel free to correct me, anyone, if I'm wrong Puzzled )
