Hi all,
Checking out a stay in this part of the La Plagne resort but just wondered about parking - is there on-street parking and do you have to pay? I stayed in Belle Plagne last time and that was all underground parking and looked pretty limited. I suppose Villages/Soleil is a dead-end so you'll only have people who stay there parking, but just need to find out anyway.

There is a huge outdoor car park in Soleil and a much smaller one in Villages - first come first served!

I did of course have someone bump into my car in the Plagne village car parking...
...but as I'm going back there in March, I'm still going to use it.

Flights, accomodation and cars are booked for the week of the 17/03 - can't wait!!!!
What's Villages like? There are a cuple of shops and restaurant aren't there, but is it easy to get down to Plagne Centre on the night? What time does the lift run til?

Specialman, Spar, ski hire, restaurant and a bar (grotte du yeti? hmm not sure on the name) Bus runs til about 11:30 from Centre back to VIllages- its a helluva walk though. Monicas down in Soleil is a good laugh- and easier to walk back to. Lifts- hmm cant remember- check the website to be sure.

Laughably bad, dreadful food/service at lunchtime on the terrace. Very well worth missing this season

I'm sure the week will pass in a Kronenbourg-fuelled haze so I may not even set foot out of the apartment unless I have a board on me feet!!
