It's much much worse then that I'm afraid. We have to build our own igloos. Haven't yet figured out how to build and then lose an empire and subsequently hire former colonists to come over and do all the work for us.

Actually there's no need to be envious. The quality of snow was rather tragic. We skied back in via Flute and were at the runs by 3:45pm - skiing down by 4:15pm.

Those new ones are even worse!!!
Seriously though, inspirational stuff. Also great for illustrating the dangers lurking in Glaciers that you wouldn't necessarily see from ground level. I've got a fear of glaciers ever since i watched "Touching the Void"!

Got to say those are some awesome pics, and the ones on the website and damn fine as well. You're a lucky bar-steward to be in that stuff.
