Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

University report criticises ski resort 'environmentalism'

A report from George Washington University is criticising the 4-year-old 'Sustainable Slopes Program', which was a response to environmental concerns expressed about the impact of US ski resorts. It concludes that the environmental performance of the resorts has been ineffectual and unaccountable.

An organisation called the Ski Area Citizens Coalition praises Robert Redford's Sundance ski resort, but criticises Deer Valley.
