Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I'm going to get a last minute deal for the week before christmas, probably to Val d'Isere, and going to Verbier for the third week in January.
Probably will manage two more weeks in the season but not sure where or when yet.

Anyone else?

Some other time as and when I can fit it in around Feb/March I'd like another week somewhere. I've been saying that for the last three years though and something always gets in the way.

Long weekend flying into Chambery on 17th Dec until 20th. Probably Val Despair, but have to see how conditions are before sorting accomadation etc.

Week in Solden first full week in Feb.

Hopefully a couple of sneaky weekends in Scotland if conditions are good and I can sweet talk my good lady into letting me go.

The rest of the time I'll spend hoping for an ice age to suddenly appear out of nowhere. snowHead

Help! I'm off to Saas Fee in two weeks for some glacier ski-ing. Never done this before and I'm the wrong side of - never mind, I'm an old boiler. What will it be like? Do I have to get up at 4am to catch the snow before it sizzles? Will I be wading through porridge? Is it all a ghastly mistake? Please put me out of my misery someone. But it's got to be better than waiting til January - hasn't it?

Hi everyone - it's been a while!

Just booked flights for a group of mates and I to head back to Courchevel mid Jan. Looks like I might be going on another lads trip later in the year as well (hurrah) - same apartment, but at least I know what to expect.

Will definitely try to take the fiancee out for one week - any suggestions? Maybe Val d again, or should I treat her and head for Canada? (don't forget though, saving for the wedding!)

Best news of all is that it's looking increasingly likely that a close friend will be moving to Geneva - so plenty of long weekends beckon!!
