Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Poster: A snowHead
Hi we are looking at La Plagne for our next trip and have narrowed accomodation down to aprtments Plagne Soleil and Belle Plagne. Is there anything to choose in these two villages in relation to location and amenities(bars.) They both appear to be ski in/out. Would be grateful for any advice. We are a family with two teenagers 15 and 13. Cheers. Puzzled

From what I remember there is a pub, shop and restaurant in Soleil. But there is a tele-cabin that goes down the the centre and runs in the evening.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Belle Plagne is great. Slopes down from the glacier (Le Tunnel run) and Roche de Mio run to it and there are some good restaurants and bars. Plus, it's an easy ski down to Plagne Bellecote (10 mins for a good skier) and you have the cable car to PB or tot he glacier on yoru doorstep. And you're high up too, if that matters.

To be picky, the pedestrian Telebus goes down from Plagne villages which is just across a piste from Soleil.

Belle Plagne has the edge this season as it is higher Toofy Grin

ah, we stayed near the telebus which is between the two so I got them mixed up. There is a pub and a restuarant or two in Soleil.
