Great conditions at Mount Norquay today, it just goes to show how brilliant the conditions are in the whole area at the moment. 
The way things are looking in Europe at the moment may well make me change my plans for next year.

I hope to go back next year thinking of 14 days based in Banff Jasper and Kicking horse but I need to earn some money first. I have some demons to cure at Sunshine I want to go back down the shoulder where I destroyed my knee last year.

RichardB, good to hear, I enjoyed Banff a few years ago is the best value meal stil lat the rose & crown, massive plate of chips and a big burger for a few dollars

RichardB, I thought you would do Norquay on the first day while you were getting used to the time difference. It is close and not too big an area. I am not surprised at the temperatures. I was there in March and it was still bitterly cold.

Well its my day off today and I know I'll be bored but I need one day to relax my skiing muscles! Its still very cold but not as cold as when I arrived, its now just above -10.
As for my thermals, Megamum, I wore 4 layers on top for the first 2 days, its now down to 3! My sallopettes are so good, I don't need thermals!

RichardB, Thermal baths at Banff Springs hotel are good for relaxing - but a couple of runs at Norquay and a few pints in the bar at the bottom would not have been too onerous either.
