Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Les Menuires

Just back from one week skiing..we left Les Menuires on the 6th Jan. The snow on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd was very much needed and now most of the LM slopes are open including the La Masse side. There are a few black runs closed but over all we had a good time. I did not get over to any of the other resorts VT or over to the next valley so I can't comment on those areas. Our last day was especially good..everyone left in the morning so no queues and very empty slopes with great early season snow..sure a few rocks at the bottom and no real off piste but I can't do that any way so no worries for me..

It looks like it will snow today and tomorrow there according to the weather so I think next week sould be fine.
