Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Saw something in DMSS and also, by complete coincidence, was chatting to someone today that has been out to look at a resort with a view to buying and been most impressed.

They are due in the EU in January (I think).

Anyone been?

Anyone bought or thinking of buying a place there?

Whats the skiing like?

I am.

I have found a resort with apartments from £30-40k near a gold resport. My brother is mad on golf so that appeals.

I have no interest in letting it out.

£40,000. £10,000 deposit (£5k each) with costs of less than £100 a month (each) it has to be viable.

Just spoken to a rep. They're doing 4 day trips in Feb, midweek for £35 all expenses paid. Or weekends for £55.

Got to be worth a looksee if nothing else.

professorpool, I go to Bansko every year (this will be my fifth) as a second ski holiday destination. I go the last week of January or first week of February and can honestly vouch for their brilliant snow conditions at that time of year. The ski school is also very good I should add and the piste maintenance crew are equally as good. Also, their lift system is on par with the best western and central alps have to offer as they have had the new Doppelmayer lift system installed and is really fast, heated and reliable.

You might have guessed that I am a true Bansko fan. Give it a go and I guarantee that you will love it. snowHead
