Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

i wear a size 5 womens usa and have very fat calves. I currently have a dalbello boot, which is very painful and old (six years old). I need a new boot, but I dont know which boot is best for womens fat calves for such a small foot. I have limited choices. I have researched
Nordica
and dalbello. Has anyone found either one to work better?

rkvilla
, welcome to
's
get yourself to a good bootfitter and take their advice, i have in the past seen several people who have been sold boots 2, 3 or even more sizes too big to fit the calf so be wary
most modern boots can be adjusted to accomodate calf size, Head &
Nordica
& probably a few more i can't think of right now have ladies boots with an expanding rear spoiler, which can help as a starting point
beyond the standard adjustments a good fitter can remove and re-fix clips , add extra material to the cuff of the boot and use a variety of different liners to accomodate the lower leg
good luck
