Are u on a package?
If not, there's a bus from the airport to the bus station in town then one from there up to LDA - they cost just over 10€ between them.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Quite possbly because it blatantly isn't. Coach transfer from St Geoirs to 2Alpes has taken my guests an hour and a half for each of the past three weekends.

According to the Crystal Ski brochure, Britain's biggest snowsports tour-operator, the bus transfer from Grenoble Airport to Les 2 Alpes takes 2 to 2.5 hrs.

Whitegold, they are clearly hedging their bets there. I notice that Crystal is possibly the only thing of which you ever speak with any degree of approval. Do you work for the pTUI monolith, perchance?

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Your analysis is misleading and inaccurate.
I speak highly of many different brands and firms. Panorama is one example.
I have no direct or indirect connections with Crystal or pTUI whatsoever.

Whitegold, merely noticing that you are habitually a grumpy b@stard could hardly be described as 'analysis'.

You know it makes sense.

The SCGB says it takes 1.5 hrs.
Natives says 1.75 hrs.
RSN says 1.5 - 2 hrs.
Lastminute says it is 120km from airport to resort.
An back-envelope average of all the above comes in at roughly 1 hr 50 mins.
That means the bus will have to do around 65kmh / 40 mph all the way there.

Last time I drove it, it took 2 hours. ( small sample of 1 trip, average traffic, late afternoon, diesel hire car, wind ssw IIRC )

P.S. admin, is correct if referring to the town rather than the airport. The last time I did THAT journey it took just over 30 minutes, however it was in a police vehicle with blue lights - but that's another story ......
