Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Looking for a resort on the 3rd of March (or around that period) for 6 people (one week). 4 will need ski school so I’m looking for somewhere that we can easily meet up with them for lunch. Lively après would be good.

Budget wise, nothing too expensive but will pay for the right place. A good confidence building resort maybe?

Avoid the French resorts, because it's a busy school holiday week for France (one of the busiest). The next week would be much better.

Try Andorra. We are staying in El Tarter going on 4th March (Sunday changeovers). Our main reasons for going there are its cheaper than France, good skiing and most important for my wife is that the slopes are extremely good for confidence building and have one of the best ski schools in Europe.

Have a look at Austria - Ski Amade network is fantastic with beautiful tree-lined pistes. Airport transfers are only 45 mins. You wont be disapponted. Very Happy

tp023, andorra as kosciosco, would be a good start, the hotel he is staying in is also really good and very a reasonable price
