I've acquired a pair of this seasons Salomon Rush for my wife and they have come with 710 light rental bindings. I can't for the life of me see how to adjust the toe binding forwards and back to centre the boot. It appears that the front should move given the markings in the slider. The heal piece moves fine.
Help welcome !

Cheers guys. It seems to the tab just forward of the AFD but I've can't get get it so the front binding moves. however it tweak the tab the binding is solid. It's not really a problem, I doubt that she will notice the centimeter it's out, but it is annoying !

The toe release is in front of the toe piece, slide the slider sideways around the arc (no tools required) and the toepiece will move.
edit: comprex was faster on the keyboard.

"Synchro Center Models. Move the button on the front of the toe to the left, and slide the toe to the Synchro position indicated. Ensure the toe locks firmly in place. For S850 and other non-current SC models, push the toe back, depress the button on the left side of the toe, and slide the toe into position. The toe locks into place automatically. The adjustment is correct when the mid-sole mark on the ski is aligned with the mid-sole mark on the boot."

The pictures in my Salomon manual suggest that it is that black bit behind the AFD - quote " From the rear, slide the Toe piece on the interface until it corresponds with or is just above your boot sole length using the manual lock to authorize the sliding (Figs 3 & 4)"
The Pic 3 shows "pinching" that black bit between thumb and forefinger.

That pic and description is for the "normal" version of the smartrak toepiece, the tab below the AFD just lifts, and you can slide the toepiece on the smartrak.
Davids pic doesn't show a liftable tab (or does it, can't tell from photo), so I think he must have a 710SR and not SC.

Yoda, On mine the section below the AFD seems to be fixed and not designed to lift up as far as I can tell. The manual I downloaded from the link JTR provided seems to hint at a screwdriver into the tab in front of the AFD, but it's not too clear. The worry is I did the Salomon binding course a month or so ago

Michelle, That would be very cool. The owner of the ski's will then hopefully stop bending my ear if I can get them set up correctly.

OK found out how to do this at the weekend. You need a Pozi No.3.
On the toepiece, unscrew the 2 pozi screws holding the toepiece to the plate, and take them out.
Pull the entire toe piece rearwards (towards the tail of the ski) - it should slide backwards, and off, revealing a third screw and rail, under the front of the toe piece.
Unscrew this third screw, and re-position in in one of the other ready drilled and tapped holes, where you want it.
Reassemble toe-piece!

. Unfortunately there is nothing at the front of the toe to slide or adjust. It must be something to do with the 'tab' just in front of the AFD, but I can't make it work
